Hi Rob – Thanks for reaching out to let me know. The Ozaukee County Historical Society is actively involved in preserving Bruno’s shop, and I’m honored that they allowed me to photograph the building. I did so strictly as a volunteer. My contract with the OCHS includes a clause that they must figure out a way to use my photographs to raise money to save the buildings. I have faith that their board of directors will do just that. Hi Lauri – Thanks for viewing and commenting on the photo. I had the pleasure of shooting for the Ozaukee County Historical Society while living in Cedarburg back in 2016. I gave them all the images free of charge but with the promise that they would use the pictures in the future to help raise money to save their buildings, including the blacksmith shop. The board members of the OCHS are all very energetic and effective stewards of their properties at Pioneer Village. I will always be grateful for the opportunity to do what I could for such great people.
Proud to be a direct descendant of Bruno!
